This is a joint project involving the nine schools in Bridge of Don and the chaplaincy team from local churches. It will commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the signing of the armistice that brought the First World War to an end on 11 November 1918.

Bridge of Don Academy and Active Schools have been selected to receive funding from the UK sustainable transport charity, Sustrans as well as an additional £1,500 from the Youth Activities Small Grants Fund.
The money received has allowed the school to invest in 10 new bike lockers and cycle stands as well and 28 new scooters. On top of this, 40 helmets were purchased through the Cycle Scotland Cycle Friendly School Award.
