Who are you?: Isla. My mum works at Bridge of Don Academy. I learn about Fairtrade and school and we have Fairtrade Fortnight every year.
What is your Fairtrade item?: Co-op Fairtrade White Chocolate.
Why?: I love chocolate. It is my treat when I go out for walks or up hills. If it is Fairtrade it helps farmers too. The Co-op is near where I live and I pass it on my way home from school.
In 2021 Fairtrade Fortnight runs from the 22nd February to the 7th March. The theme is ‘Climate, Fairtrade and You’. Keep a look out for events near you, including some by Aberdeen for a Fairer World.
