The Scottish government is currently consulting on new legislation to formalise and enshrine in law many of the good practices which have evolved in schools and local authorities in relation to supporting young people with additional support needs. The idea is to help agencies work more closely together and to ensure that the rights of children and young people are at the heart of what we do.
