RGU Open Day Events

Re-Launching our On Campus Events – The Robert Gordon University
Robert Gordon University is pleased to announce that we are welcoming back S3-S6 school pupils to our ‘Careers in’ events on campus for the first time since 2020.

There will be four event dates in total across selected subject areas. The details of our first two events are as follows: 


•        ‘Careers in’ STEM (Tuesday 15th March 2022)
•        ‘Careers in’ Health, Social Work and Social Sciences (Thursday 17th March 2022)


These events will take place during British Science Week (5th – 14th March 2022).

To register your interest, please complete the form under the title of the event you wish to attend.

CAREERS IN STEM

Interested in learning more about Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths? Students can take part in our interactive workshops on the 15th March to get some first-hand experience in the following subject areas:

•    Engineering
•    Computing
•    Architecture and Built Environment

CAREERS IN HEALTH, SOCIAL WORK and SOCIAL SCIENCES

Join us on the 17th March for the opportunity to take part in our interactive Health related workshops in collaboration with the University of Aberdeen. Students can benefit by exploring subject areas and interests while gaining practical insight with the support of Academics and Course Leaders.

These workshops will be delivered by our School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice, School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, School of Applied Social Studies and School of Health Sciences. Our Open Day on Saturday 12 March, 10am-4pm.  

Please note: We have two separate campuses, depending on what course you’re interested in studying you’ll have to visit either our City Campus or our Riverside campus.

Shipping Companies
Recruitment and training representatives from shipping companies will be there on the day to possibly offer cadetships. So, we recommend you bring your CV to pass on to companies attending on the day if you’re interested in a maritime career.  

Companies who have attended in the past include BAE Systems, Clyde Marine Training, Ship Safe Training Group, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Royal Navy Reserves, V-Ships, Shell, Carnival Cruises, Chiltern Maritime, Princess Cruises, Anglo Eastern, Stream Marine, AM Crewing, RFA.
