Before the October holiday, the S2 football team played against Alford in the Scottish Cup. Unfortunately, the team didn’t win but we are still very proud of the way they embodied the BoDA Bees: Be Respectful, Be Honest, Be Caring and Be Your Best.
From start to finish their behaviour was fantastic, including on the bus. The team played some beautiful football where they showed a lot of skill and worked well as a team. They also showed a lot of respect to their opponents, the referee and each other. We had a couple of injuries but they didn’t complain or respond by fighting back. Instead, they checked the injured players were okay and then fit before they re-joined the match. The Alford team that beat us got into the last 16 of the Scottish Cup last year so were a very good team. Their coach even commented that the score didn’t reflect the actual game. The boys are back to training after having a short break and are looking forward to their future matches and their new kit, currently being designed.
While the S2 team are waiting to hear about their next round of matches in the league, the S1 and Senior teams still have some important matches to play. We wish them the best of luck!
