This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in the Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED). OPRED is based in Aberdeen and reports into the Energy Development and Resilience Unit, part of the Department of Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy.
OPRED regulates the environment and decommissioning activity in the UKCS (UK Continental Shelf),working in partnership with industry throughout the lifecycle of oil and gas activity, promoting good practice and enabling industry compliance.
Within OPRED, the Offshore Environment Unit (OEU) has operational and policy functions to regulate the Offshore Oil and Gas industry. The Business Support Team (BST) sits within the OEU and our key function is to provide administrative support for the Environmental Managers and Offshore Inspectors.
