As you will be aware 16 and 17 year olds are now eligible to receive the vaccine. In the coming weeks, national letters will go out to those that have not yet come forward to self-register or drop-in (exact time TBC). In the meantime, young people don’t have to wait for the letter as they can attend the main vaccination centre and advertised drop-in clinics for walk in appointments. Keep an eye on the NHS Grampian social media page too for the most up-to-date clinics in Aberdeen City.
Please note there may be local second dose clinics taking place across the City and individuals who attended these clinics for a first dose on a drop-in basis, will be contacted by the call centre to book an appointment. If someone feels they should have been contacted, they can call the local contact centre on 0800 0304 713. The line is open Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. This is to support with vaccine storage and supply.
