Who are you?: Nicholas Care. I used to be the fairtrade officer for Aberdeen for a Fairer World MDEC and am now a trustee. I love fairtrade because it allows me to feel connected with the producers and farmers of the products I buy. Everytime I buy fairtrade, I am experiencing the passion and livelihood of farmers in other parts of the world and am paying the fair price for their passion, hardwork, and quality items.
What is your Fairtrade item?: Percol Decaf Instant Coffee.
Why?: My partner and I love our morning cups of coffee. The decaf coffee by Percol is delicious, smooth, and goes wonderfully with a teaspoon or two of fair trade sugar and milk of choice. Also doubles as a delicious evening treat without the worry of caffeine keeping you up!
