COMPETITION TIME!
Would you like a Fairtrade hamper under your Christmas tree this year? Then take part in our #FairtradeChristmas photo competition. To be in with a chance simply:

The Festive hamper contains one rich iced fruit slab cake, Earl Grey tea, chocolate chunk and sour cherry shortbread rounds, Rwandan red bourbon fresh ground coffee, dark chocolate with marzipan & orange liqueur, half-coated chocolate Christmas trees, Divine dark chocolate salted caramel thins, Zaytoun caramelised almonds, dark chocolate chip & orange biscuits, butterscotch sweets, one slab of 37% milk chocolate, and one ‘joy’ drawstring bag. Yum!
Who are you?: Cara Walkden, Social studies teacher and Secretary of Aberdeen for a Fairer World. I am a teacher at Bridge of Don Academy and have been working with pupils to promote Fairtrade. I am interested in fair trade because it is an easily accessible way for me to help improve the lives of people around the world.
What is your Fairtrade item?: Tesco Finest Indulgent Drinking Chocolate.
Why?: I love hot chocolate and this is my favourite to have at home. It has a really rich flavour which satisfies my craving for chocolate. It is also good to know that the cocoa farmers in the Dominican Republic are getting a fair price for their produce. Perfect for a cold winters night!
* The competition closes at midnight on Tuesday 22nd of December. The hamper can be collected or delivered locally (Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire) on Wednesday 23rd or Thursday 24th.
