The LRC provides a safe and welcoming environment and aims to provide the school community with a resources and information service that supports learning and teaching.

Opening hours
Monday – Tuesday 8.20am – 4.15pm
Wednesday – Friday 8.20am – 3.15pm
(closed at break time and the first half of lunchtime)
Facilities
Over 5,000 resources including, fiction, non-fiction, reference and careers material.
Our ICT area has 9 networked computers.
Use the LRC for:
- researching a project
- personal reading
- borrowing books
- internet
- revision and study
- discursive essays
- class visits
- careers information
- leisure interests and hobbies
- exploring GAP year options
Library Club
Meets Monday to Friday 1.30 – 1.55pm and gives pupils the opportunity to read and exchange books, do homework, access the computers and play board games. The Club gets very busy so the following system is in place:
Monday – S1 only. Tuesday and Wednesday – S2 and S4 pupils. Thursday and Friday – S1 and S3 pupils. S5 and S6 are welcome any day.
