Over the last 4 weeks 12 staff members have been competing in the Great BODA Bake Off 2019 to raise money for 2 charities; Macmillan Cancer Support & The MS Trust. Bakers were pitted against each other in round 1 and had to bake based on a theme including scones, shortbread, cupcakes and chocolate. Staff voted and donated to both charities before the winners from each round went through to a semi-final. Following victories in their respective Semi-finals Miss Mustard (PE), Miss Crawford (Art) and Mrs Forbes (English) went head to head on Thursday in the final with their amazing “showstopper” cakes.
Following all the fantastic efforts Miss Crawford was crowned BODA Bake Off Champion for 2019 but more importantly £280 was raised which will be split equally between Macmillan and the MS Trust.
