With restrictions in place, our Book Week Scotland (16-22 Nov) celebrations will be a bit different this year. The Library will be celebrating books and reading virtually via the Google Library Classroom
- Enter the Library’s Design a Literary Mask Competition based on a favourite book or book character – the 2 chosen winners will get their unique design made into a mask. Winners will be announced on Monday 23rd November. See further details below
- Look out for posters on your classroom doors to find out what your teachers are reading.
- Thursday 19th November the annual and very popular Big Book House Quiz will be posted up in the Library Google Classroom and house points will be awarded to all participants and extra points to pupils getting all questions correct.
- Other fun activities such as origami and word searches during the week.
Why not enter the ‘Design a Literary Mask’ for Book Week Scotland.
The 2 chosen winners will get their unique design made into a mask.
The mask should be based on a favourite book or character from a book but anything booky will be accepted so for example an image from Harry Potter, Star Wars, Jane Austen or even a graphic novel – the choice is yours ……………………… you will find examples online.
All you need to do is draw your design on a sheet of paper, take a scan or photo of your design and then upload the photo.
