On the way back from a busy weekend in Manchester.
We arrived to Sport City for the Manchester City Fun Day with footballing challenges on their indoor artificial pitches. Then it was across the walkway to see the Manchester City v Chelsea game. After a slower start the visitors took control of the game and eventually ran out victorious.
A quick dash back to the coach meant that we could then get across to Elland Road for the Leeds United v Aston Villa game. With the fans behind them, it was the home team who bagged the 3 points here.
Day 2 included a visit to the “Theatre of Dreams” before heading over to the National Football Museum where pupils had the chance to test their footballing skills as well as their commentary abilities for Match of The Day.
We’re now back on the way up the road and are passing Glasgow just now (1900) – expecting to be back in Aberdeen for 2145. We will update the PE Twitter page ( @bodapeandsport ) if there is any change to this and the pupils will be making contact when we are at Stonehaven.
