Dave Cousins was announced as the winner of the Grampian Children’s Book Award at a ceremony in the Arts Lecture Theatre in Aberdeen University on Wednesday 14th May. We had been treated to a varied and interesting afternoon with entertaining talks by Dave Cousins, Claire McFall and Keith Charters as well as readings from the other shortlisted authors’ books. A question and answer session, raffle and competition winner announcements rounded off the afternoon nicely.
