Resources for Parents – New Qualifications

Resources for Parents – New Qualifications

The National Parent Forum of Scotland (NPFS) and the Association of Directors of Education in Scotland (ADES) both recognise the importance of parents and carer shaving information to help them as their children progress through the new qualifications.

The NPFS has been working to gather together information which parents might find useful at this important stage of their children’s education and have produced, withthe support of Scottish Government, two new resources to help parents and pupils.

The first, Assessment in a Nutshell, describes the assessment process for theNational Qualifications. The second is a set of Pointers for Parents and Pupils which  provides tips and links to websites where there are resources for learning and revising for the new qualifications.

Both organisations want parents to be at the heart of Curriculum for Excellence, and hope you will find these helpful.  You can find all the resources below and can access them by clicking on the appropriate link.
