On Thursday 4th February, award-winning author Cathy MacPhail came to talk to all S1 pupils. As you can see from the photos and comments she was a huge hit!

It was great. She even said she would use one of my ideas for her stories.
If I wanted to be a writer she would be my inspiration. She made me jealous by making her own movie.
She was excellent at interacting with us. Her very charming and articulated nature convinced me to read her books. I wish she was my granny.
I thought Cathy MacPhail and her presentation was an inspiration to me. I am now reading “Another Me” and I hope to watch the movie. I thought she was an inspiration because she made it clear that anyone could be an author. And I thought she was great!
