Rights Respecting School Award – we achieved our Silver Award!

Our assessment for silver award of the United Nations Rights Respecting Schools Award took place on 3 October 2017. The assessors visited the school for a morning and spoke to pupils, staff and parents. They looked at the evidence we had gathered, visited classes and had a tour of the school. They recognised all the hard work of staff and pupils and as a result we were successful in achieving level 1 – the Silver Award.

BODA Staff do Strictly!

Mr Ness, Mrs McSeveney, Miss Ritchie & Mr Wallace are all members of staff who pride ourselves in encouraging our pupils to think of others, challenge themselves & always give their absolute best. So it’s only fair to lead by example…and what better way than on the dancefloor! The Ultra Ballroom event runs in conjunction with Cancer Research UK and all funds raised go directly towards this fantastic cause.
