Christmas Fayre 2019

On November 27th we held our seventh BODA Christmas Fayre which was a great success and as always this was largely due to the many people who helped out on the night. Thanks to all the staff, Parent Council and pupils who manned the doors, served refreshments and ran the raffle as well as those who donated raffle prizes, the senior choir – who were great and received many compliments – and of course our stallholders, some of them with us for the seventh year as well as various new ones who have joined us over the years.
Finally a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us on the night; we are delighted with our final total raised of £818.00.

McMillan Coffee Morning

Following on from the great success of the BODA Bake-off [and a short break from all the sweet treats!] the staff took part for the second year running in The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. This is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event and once again staff pulled out all the stops to produce a fantastic spread for our morning break.
We raised a fabulous £281.65, over £40 more than last year, and added to the £140 already raised for Macmillan as part of the BODA Bake-off we have been able to donate £421.65 to this very worthwhile charity.
