As previously published to pupils in Google Classroom, Optimus are once again offering a pupil from Bridge of Don Academy the opportunity of a week’s work experience later this year. This is open to all pupils, from those planning to study at university, to others who may be unsure of their career path. Applications need to be submitted by 28 February. Such is the size of this opportunity, we expect this to be oversubscribed. The four page application form is attached to this notice.

This an opportunity for you to experience the reality of working life for one week, from Monday 8 June to Friday 12 June . The aim is for you to gain an insight into the world of work and have the opportunity to learn from the experience by being exposed to a variety of tasks and to the culture of the work place. Work experience can also help employers by challenging their perceptions of young people’s skills and attitudes so you can play your part in this.
