Who are you?: Sara Pintado, I’m currently teaching Social Subjects at Bridge of Don Academy. I’m interested in Fairtrade because it can make a big difference for the lives of people that produce it. Also, great quality! And all I have to do is just check the label.
What is your Fairtrade item?: Co-op Irresistible – Single Origin Dark Chocolate with Orange.
Why?: Dark chocolate and Orange, do I really need more reasons? Peruvian cacao is amongst the best. I always have dark chocolate to bite when I’m peckish, and the bits of orange zest just give a nice extra. And buying it helps producers to make more and better chocolate!
The Co-op Irresistible chocolate bar range also includes flavours such as mint, almond and sea salt, and raspberry. All using Fairtrade chocolate.
As well as chocolate bars, Fairtrade chocolate can be used in a number of different products from ice cream to brownies, hot chocolate to cookies.
