The Girls Fitness Club at Bridge of Don Academy have applied to Skipton Building Society for funds to purchase more equipment specific to girls. The more votes we receive the more likely the club will gain the £500 grant. Having the money would allow the group to purchase more fitness equipment particularly boby pump equipment. The girls had a guest session from an instructor from the local sports centre and the girls all really enjoyed the body pump class. Unfortunately a lot of them are too young to attend the class at the local gym so cannot take part in this activity any further. As a result we would like to purchase a set of body pump equipment so the girls can take part in this activity in the safe environment of the school.
