Back To The 80’s – Tickets Now On Sale

A boy meets girl next door high school story with an awesome 80s soundtrack.

In this story of kids in America and the glory of love, Corey Palmer’s senior year at William Ocean High is a battle for the heart of Tiffany Houston and for the student presidency, both with too-cool-for-school Michael Feldman. With best friends and Star Wars experts Alf and Kirk by his side, and the undiscovered genius of Feargal McFerrin III ever present, how can he fail?

Breakfast Club supported by local hotel

Today on behalf of Bridge of Don Academy Mr Wallace collected cereal donated by Doubletree by Hilton at the beach.  The hotel are celebrating 100 years of hospitality and are keen to continue to support the local community and recognize what an important part breakfast plays in peoples days, particularly teenagers.  The relationship has been forged through community engagement and the hotel will continue to support the Bridge of Don Academy breakfast club in its aim to eradicate pupil hunger. Yvonne Gilespie of DoubleTree by Hilton said “Hilton are celebrating 100 years of Hospitality this year and we are looking into what we can do in the Community.  We would be delighted to help out and donate items to your Breakfast Club.”

S1 Football Success

The S1 U13 football team celebrated their success after winning the Green Final Trophy 5-1 against Bucksburn Academy. This is a great achievement by all the pupils who were a credit to the school, showing determination and confidence as a team as well as playing in a fair and competitive manner. This is the first time in ten years a football team has won a trophy and the last time Bridge of Don won this trophy was back in 1980. With the season now finished we look forward to the team playing again as U14’s in the S2 competitions in August. Well done to all players!
