I have been asked to promote the 100 club, run by the parent council, to all parents and carers. I am delighted to do this because so many young people have benefitted from the resources it is used to buy. Please read the letter in the link below for further information and instructions on how to join this easy fund raising scheme. The more people there are in the club the more money is raised and the bigger the prize pot. The parent council invites bids from departments and make decisions based on the number of pupils likely to benefit from the resource and on the potential impact on learning and teaching.
Tasty Careers in Food, Drink & Agriculture on the evening of October 29 at The Mart in Inverurie. This event is aimed at teachers, parents and young people. There will be food provided as well as samples from industry stands. You can book onto the event here. DYWNE can help with transport e.g. a mini bus. It is the intention to have at least one bus from the city centre so indicating if you want transport when booking your place is key.
