Scottish Government Parental Survey

Aberdeen City is taking part in a national census of parental involvement and engagement. This work has been led by Scottish Government as part of the “Learning Together” Action Plan. This will be the first time data will be gathered nationally to inform future practice.
The information collected will help Aberdeen City Council and Scottish Government improve how our school involves you in your child’s learning.

Summer in the City Programme

Aberdeen City Council, Family Information Service are happy to share the Summer in the City Guide 2019 with you!

This publication is a comprehensive guide of a number of activities and events taking place in Aberdeen City.  This year’s Summer in the City will be available online at the following links;

Aberdeen City Council Website:

A decision was made not to print the guide again this year, it is only available as a pdf copy.  This has allowed us to create an interactive diary section and use colours and photographs with additional clarity, more so than previous versions allowing for easy viewing on computer screens, phones and tablets.

We would encourage any users of the guide to provide us with their feedback. We would be delighted to hear what you think, and all feedback allows us to improve and continue to provide a high quality publication, which we hope you will find useful in planning your summer activities. S2 – S5 Parental Survey – course choice and pathway planning

If your son or daughter is in S2 – S5 please give us feedback on how we support you and pupils at course choice time.  Please use the link below to complete a short survey.  Most questions are multiple choice but there are also opportunities for you to give more detailed answers.  We know that this can be a challenging time for young people and their families and want to know what we could change or do differently to help support you all through the process.

If you would prefer you can email the school or write to us with your views.
