This week two groups performed at the Aberdeen and North East Music Festival and achieved outstanding success. On Wednesday the senior choir won their class and we will post a photograph as soon as we can get them all back together. On Friday a quartet of senior girls won second place in the vocal and choral light music ensemble 15 -17. Given that there were 10 entrants this is a real achievement. It is good to see hard work and practice bringing success and very positive feedback from the adjudicators.

The school makes no profit from the school show and all ticket sales help meet the costs of mounting a professional production in the Arts Centre. The school show is also supported by the Parent Council who run a raffle – so if you can donate a prize get it into the school office by Friday 23 June.
